Making a potentially complex tax communications message easy to understand.
The Australian Taxation Office introduced a new way for businesses to report employee tax and super information. Our task was to target a specific audience of business owners with 1 to 19 employees, tell them that Single Touch Payroll was now a thing and that they had to comply within a specific timeframe.
With a variety of messages to communicate, the risk of over complication and confusion was quite high. So we focused on a key theme that instantly spoke to our audience and informed them of the upcoming change to tax reporting.
19 or less employees? Time to move to STP – became the umbrella campaign message that spoke to directly to owners and managers of small business through digital, social, OOH and radio.
